What’s  an Anamorphic Lens?

Most movies are shot in 2:35.1 ratio meaning that when normally viewed you will see black bars top and bottom of the screen, giving that squashed letterbox effect. This means that resolution from your 1080p Projector is being lost in those black bars.

This is where we use an Anamorphic Lens to compensate for this, giving a Projected image filling the entire screen with no loss of resolution. Giving you that true Cinematic experience.

Why use an Acoustically Transparent Screen?

Positioning the Front Left & Right and Centre (or at minimum the Centre) Speakers behind the screen, means that the sound and the projected image are as one and are as close to how the original production was intended  to be seen / heard. Making the whole movie experience as enjoyable as possible.

The screens we use are of premium quality and are made up of a special weave to allow the sound to penetrate the screen with no loss of clarity or quality and also with no compromise in image quality.
